About
Who writes these guides
Angkor Tourism Guide is an independent travel publication about a single Cambodian city and the temples around it. It is a small operation, not a staffed newsroom. The aim of every guide is that you can close the tab and act on it.
How figures are sourced
Prices, opening hours and transport times are traced to the organizations that set them: Angkor Enterprise for the Angkor Pass and the separate tickets for Beng Mealea, Koh Ker and Phnom Kulen; the APSARA National Authority for park rules and dress codes; Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport for transfers; the bus companies for timetables; and the venues themselves for hours and booking policies. Where a figure is a judgment rather than a fact, it is written as a judgment, with the reasoning attached.
How guides are reviewed
Every guide carries the month it was last checked. Seasonal guides, the Angkor Pass guide and anything with a timetable in it are revisited most often. Factual errors get fixed and the review date updated. If something is wrong, use the contact page.
What the site does not do
We earn nothing from any business named on this site. There are no affiliate links, no booking widgets, no sponsored articles and no paid placements. Venues do not see guides before publication, and no venue can pay to be included or to be described more kindly. The site does not take bookings, and it does not cover visas beyond the practical steps, insurance, or medical advice.
What a figure means
Treat every price, hour and journey time as a planning estimate. Cambodia changes fast: a tuk-tuk fare moves with fuel, a show changes its start time with the season, a restaurant closes for Pchum Ben. Confirm anything time-critical with the operator before you rely on it.
